Our Mission
To promote the welfare of animals for the public benefit by providing rescue, shelter, and adoption services, and to advance the well-being of our community through specialized animal-assisted therapy and public education.
Our Vision
A society where every animal is treated with compassion and respect, and where the bond between humans and animals is recognized as a vital resource for health, healing, and community resilience.
Our Programs
We focus our efforts on four core pillars to ensure we provide the greatest benefit to both animals and the public:
01Shelter & Adoption Services
We aim to operate a safe, compassionate facility for stray and surrendered dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide these animals with the veterinary care, socialization, and stability they need to prepare for their "forever homes."
02Community Pet Pantry
Our Community Pet Pantry provides essential food and supplies to low-income families, ensuring that financial distress does not force the separation of families from their pets, thereby alleviating the psychological distress of pet loss for vulnerable community members.
03Community Education & Engagement
We believe that a well-informed community is a safer community for animals. We host regular workshops and events that teach responsible pet guardianship, animal safety, and the importance of spaying/neutering to control overpopulation.
04Animal-Assisted Therapy
We provide therapeutic support services to individuals with disabilities and those experiencing mental health challenges. By connecting these individuals with trained, calm, and supportive animals, we help reduce stress, improve social functioning, and foster emotional healing.
Our Values
The Principles That Guide Us
At Pawzee Community Foundation, our work is driven by a deep commitment to both the animals we rescue and the community we serve. These core values define how we operate, how we interact with our volunteers and donors, and how we fulfill our mandate to promote animal welfare for the public benefit.

01 / 05
Compassion
We believe that every animal deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. Our compassion extends beyond the animals; it encompasses the people we serve, particularly those struggling with mental health challenges or physical disabilities, ensuring that every interaction is rooted in empathy and understanding.
As we work toward our goal, we are committed to the highest standards of transparency. We manage our resources with the utmost care, ensuring that every dollar donated and every hour volunteered is used efficiently and effectively. We hold ourselves accountable to our donors, our community, and the animals in our care.
We believe that the benefits of the human-animal bond should be accessible to everyone. We strive to create an inclusive environment where individuals from all walks of life, regardless of background or ability and feel welcome to participate in our programs. By fostering these connections, we strengthen the fabric of our community.
We are dedicated to the advancement of knowledge. We believe that by educating the public on responsible pet guardianship and the benefits of animal-assisted therapy, we empower our community to make informed decisions. We strive to provide the tools and resources necessary for people to lead more compassionate, informed lives.
The welfare of our animals and the safety of the public are our top priorities. We operate with professional rigor, employing best practices in veterinary care, animal handling, and therapy service delivery. We are committed to continuous learning and improvement, ensuring that our programs remain safe, effective, and evidence-based.

By joining our team, you aren't just helping animals; you are helping us build a more compassionate, educated, and resilient community.
